Staking on Bastyon
Stake PKOIN by running a node. The node participates in Proof-of-Stake block production and pays out rewards in PKOIN. No mining hardware and no pool account — just a synced node and a funded wallet.
What staking actually is
Staking replaces mining: your node helps produce new blocks and is rewarded for it.
You run a node
Staking is tied to a node that is online, fully synced with the blockchain and has a funded wallet. The node does the work — you do not have to keep anything open on a website.
You hold and stake PKOIN
The node's wallet needs PKOIN to take part. The documented minimum is 50 PKOIN deposited to the node wallet. Because rewards grow with your stake, more PKOIN generally means more frequent payouts.
The network pays you
When your node contributes to block production it receives PKOIN rewards. This is new emission, not a fee taken from other users.
Rewards can be checked
You can confirm whether your node is staking at any time, so you know the setup is actually earning rather than sitting idle.
Important: staking returns are variable. There is no guaranteed percentage — payouts depend on your stake, total network stake and block luck. Never stake more than you can afford to keep locked in a node.
How to start staking
Four steps from zero to a staking node.
| Step | What to do |
|---|---|
| 1 · Install a node | Use the Easy Node (built into the Bastyon app) or a Full Node (PocketNet Core) — see the Nodes page. |
| 2 · Back up the wallet | Export the node wallet's private key and copy wallet.dat to a safe place before depositing anything. |
| 3 · Deposit PKOIN | Send at least 50 PKOIN to the node wallet using the "Deposit" function. |
| 4 · Stay online | Keep the node synced and running. Staking status appears in the app (Easy Node) or via the commands below. |
Full Node commands
getstakinginfo— check if your node is currently staking.getstakereport— report of PKOIN won through staking.getbalance— show the node wallet balance.
Easy Node
No terminal needed. Open the node section inside the Bastyon app and it shows the node status, staking state and wallet controls in one place.
