Users & Traders
Connect your own wallets, discover markets and exchange native assets directly. Your keys remain with you from order to settlement.
Wallets, disk space and the BLOCK fee.
Three things to understand before funding XLite or accepting an order on Block DX.
One wallet. Many supported coins.
Connect XLite so supported assets and balances become available in Block DX. Without it, you need the native Full Core wallet for every asset you trade and must store and synchronize each complete blockchain locally.
Keep the working balance lean.
Use XLite as an operational trading wallet. Keep only the amount needed for active trades, then move longer-term holdings back to the dedicated wallets you use for storage.
0.015 BLOCK per taker action.
Makers currently pay no exchange fee. Taking an order costs 0.015 BLOCK plus the sold asset's native network fee. The BLOCK trade fee is paid to a randomly selected Service Node supporting both chains.
Keep a few BLOCK in Blocknet Core: the current fee cannot be paid from BLOCK held in XLite.Official fee details ->Manual Control or Guided Steps.
Use the recommended installer for the easiest route, or configure each application yourself.
Install the applications individually.
Choose and configure each component yourself using its official GitHub release.

The full wallet validates the BLOCK chain and holds the native coin that fuels protocol fees, staking and governance. Keep a small BLOCK balance here for Block DX taker fees; keep it synced and unlocked for staking to participate in Proof of Stake.
XLite holds multiple supported assets and makes them available in Block DX without storing every full blockchain. Use it for active trading balances, retain the recovery seed locally and move long-term holdings to your dedicated storage wallets after trading.

Block DX displays the distributed XBridge order book and coordinates atomic swaps. Makers pay no exchange fee; taking an order costs 0.015 BLOCK plus the sold asset's native network fee, with the BLOCK fee paid to a randomly selected supporting Service Node.

Secure the chain between trades.
BLOCK is the native coin that makes the protocol economically sustainable. A balance held in an open, synced and staking-unlocked Core wallet can participate in Proof of Stake, while Service Node collateral supports the network's trading, data and application infrastructure.
